About the work
The work consists of a detachable decorative accessory designed for attachment to over-ear headphones through a central curved clamping structure adapted to secure onto the external side area of the headphone assembly without permanent modification.
The accessory is composed of a symmetrical pair of butterfly-inspired wing structures positioned laterally on each side of the central attachment assembly. Each wing structure features elongated upper wing elements rendered in black, charcoal, pearl, and pale gray coloration combined with iridescent reflective effects and embedded ornamental vein-like illustrations distributed throughout the composition. The wings incorporate elongated pointed upper extensions, sharply segmented outer contours, scalloped lower edges, and elongated tail-like projections that together create a sculptural three-dimensional gothic fantasy-inspired appearance.
The decorative surfaces further include intricate stained-glass-inspired segmentation formed by multiple translucent panels bordered by dark structural outlines. The wing composition incorporates circular ornamental motifs distributed throughout the upper wing sections, translucent pearl-like detailing, and contrasting crimson decorative accents integrated into the lower wing areas. The layered arrangement creates depth and a luminous architectural appearance reminiscent of gothic decorative art.
Positioned at the central junction of the wing assemblies are a pair of faceted geometric jewel-inspired ornaments rendered in metallic gold coloration. Additional crystal-like decorative elements are suspended from the wing structures through articulated micro-chain connectors, creating a balanced ornamental arrangement across the composition.
The central attachment structure is formed by a curved metallic clamping element integrated into the ornamental composition while preserving the detachable functionality of the accessory.
The overall composition combines translucent resin-like materials, gothic fantasy-inspired finishes, stained-glass-inspired decorative architecture, jewel-inspired ornamental detailing, articulated suspended decorations, and symmetrical sculptural forms to create a detachable decorative fashion accessory intended for aesthetic customization of headphones. All wing illustrations, ornamental markings, internal vein patterns, fantasy-inspired motifs, stained-glass-inspired surface artwork, and decorative graphic elements incorporated into the wing structures are original artistic expressions created by the author and constitute integral protected elements of the overall design composition. The visual identity of the work is defined by the specific arrangement of the gothic butterfly wing formations, segmented architectural paneling, faceted gold jewel-inspired central ornaments, suspended crystal-like charms, curved clamping structure, sculptural wing contours, and the balanced symmetrical composition of all decorative elements.
