Laurence came from a dream
With the magic of the country where I lived
For a few days I´ve been with thee.
She came falling down like snow
With the softest touch I never thought about
And she caressed my body and soul.
She said: “I’d like to be a spirit
There are times I cannot stand these earthy things
But you have been so kind to me."
Wherever you´ve gone I´ll be with my songs
Believe it or not we´ll be coming home
And there´s one thing you´ve got to know
There´ll be a kiss of yours in every scar.
There was music, there were stars
And mysterious things you cannot even explain
And that no mind can understand.
There´s no need for being sad
Though the days have passed and time has gone away
Maybe we´ll meet somewhere someday.
So I bade her farewell
At the coach station where I last saw her
Take care and kisses all the way.
