And how wide is the gap between ages
Ancient times were the other way round
We spent nights just in blackening pages
Where no borders, no worries, no bows
Pushed you back to the facts of this real life
To every day’s war we’ve got to get through.
We’re living in a dangerous world within a dangerous life
Beneath a dream’s not come true, between the wings of a lie
Won’t you reach for the truth one more time?
We're living a dangerous life within a dangerous world
And when we sank in the Flood
That dove came out of the blue
And we’re trying to hold tight the olive branch
Guess how far laid the dreams we’ve been pursuing
Every now and every then through our lives
And how real is the chance of survival
And how many the times we get hurt
And how bold are the dangers we’re facing,
And how bald get our heads after them.
