About the work

The work consists of a detachable decorative accessory designed for attachment to over-ear headphones through a central curved clamping structure adapted to secure onto the external side area of the headphone assembly without permanent modification.

The accessory is composed of a symmetrical pair of butterfly-inspired wing structures positioned laterally on each side of the central attachment assembly. Each wing structure features elongated upper wing elements rendered in black and deep sapphire-blue coloration combined with iridescent reflective effects and embedded ornamental vein-like illustrations distributed throughout the composition. The wings incorporate elongated pointed upper extensions, sharply curved outer contours, scalloped inner edges, and elongated lower tail-like projections that together create a sculptural three-dimensional gothic fantasy-inspired appearance.

The decorative surfaces further include integrated crescent moon motifs positioned within the lower wing sections, translucent layered blue wing patterns, and additional butterfly-shaped decorative illustrations incorporated into the outer portions of the composition. The wing structures are accentuated by contrasting light-colored ornamental borders that emphasize the sculptural contours of the design.

Positioned at the central junction of the wing assemblies are a pair of faceted crystal-inspired geometric ornaments rendered in pale blue coloration. These decorative elements visually connect the symmetrical wing structures and serve as a focal point within the composition.

The central attachment structure is formed by a curved metallic clamping element integrated into the ornamental composition while preserving the detachable functionality of the accessory.

The overall composition combines translucent resin-like materials, gothic fantasy-inspired finishes, celestial decorative motifs, jewel-inspired ornamental detailing, layered butterfly wing architecture, and symmetrical sculptural forms to create a detachable decorative fashion accessory intended for aesthetic customization of headphones. All wing illustrations, ornamental markings, internal vein patterns, butterfly motifs, celestial motifs, fantasy-inspired surface artwork, and decorative graphic elements incorporated into the wing structures are original artistic expressions created by the author and constitute integral protected elements of the overall design composition. The visual identity of the work is defined by the specific arrangement of the celestial gothic butterfly wing formations, crescent moon motifs, integrated butterfly illustrations, faceted crystal-inspired central ornaments, curved clamping structure, sculptural wing contours, and the balanced symmetrical composition of all decorative elements.

About the creator

“Magical Trinkets for Fairies and Anime Fans.”

My name is Ann, and I’m a fantasy designer based in Portugal. For the past 14 years, I’ve been devoted to creating magical trinkets that help people escape the routine. My work is deeply experimental, which is why I tend to keep my techniques private. With a background in jewelry and architecture, my creations reflect my passion for combining different materials and methods. I firmly believe that every material has its own story to tell — and that each one can guide us in unique ways when solving design challenges. You can find my work on instagram as sunsets.n.stars.
