About the work
This work consists of a pair of decorative earphone hooks designed to secure in-ear or wireless earphones (not limited to any specific brand). The hooks feature a curved, ergonomic structure made of translucent material, allowing light to enhance their visual effect.
Each piece incorporates stylized, iridescent wing elements with layered construction and organic detailing, positioned laterally to create a sculptural, fantasy-inspired appearance. The design combines soft gradient tones (pink, lavender, and pearlescent hues), but it's not restrictive to the color, with an opaque finish.
Metallic components are integrated into the structure, including crescent-shaped connectors and articulated hanging elements. Fine chains with dangling charms—such as stars and spike pendants—add movement and dimensionality to the piece.
The work is defined by the combination of a functional ear hook base, sculptural wing elements, and suspended decorative components, creating a distinctive fusion of wearable function and ornamental design.
