Víctimas.

Víctimas de una guerra atroz

donde ni siquiera descansa el alma.

Arrancadas de la vida,

sorprendidas,

ya sin esperanza.

Enmudecidas,

sesgadas.

Se oyen lamentos,

pero nadie hace nada.

Y en el campo estéril

caen sus cuerpos,

para borrarse en la memoria

como si nunca hubieran existido:

sin un ayer,

sin un hoy,

sin mañana.

Victims.

Victims of a brutal war

where even the soul finds no rest.

Torn from life,

caught by surprise,

with no hope left.

Silenced,

cut short.

Laments can be heard,

but no one does anything.

And in the barren field

their bodies fall,

to be erased from memory

as if they had never existed:

without a yesterday,

without a today,

without tomorrow.
