About the work
The African Dancing Dolls collection is a joyful celebration of movement, culture, and my own identity. Each fabric piece features hand-embroidered figures dancing in vibrant colours, capturing the rhythm and soft energy of African traditions with a touch of ethereal movement. Every stitch tells a story of celebration and connection to beauty.
Each piece takes around three days to complete, with at least one full day dedicated solely to embroidery. Every detail reflects care, patience, and focused attention.
