J. F. Rhodehouse es un escritor cuyo principal interés es escribir historias de ciencia ficción, fantasía urbana y misterio con tintes fantásticos.
Nacido en 1973 en Barcelona, de padre estadounidense y madre catalana, siempre se sintió cautivado por las obras literarias de ciencia ficción y fantasía. Graduado por la Universidad de Barcelona en una carrera científica a finales de los 90, pasó a trabajar en la traducción de textos técnicos del inglés americano al español y el catalán. Aparte de escribir artículos divulgativos.
Su ópera prima “Bajo la superficie de las Apariencias: Cuando el mal nos acecha”, es una noveleta, que pertenece al género de la fantasía urbana contemporánea, y está disponible en formato: ebook, tapa blanda y audiolibro, en las mejores tiendas de internet.
“Pandora 2033: Ultimátum a la Humanidad”, su último trabajo, es un relato corto de ciencia ficción, que quiere provocar e impactar al lector, sobre el grave problema de la crisis climática actual.
También, ha autopublicado una nueva traducción mejorada al español y catalán del relato de H.P. Lovecraft, “El Color del Espacio Exterior”, también disponible en Amazon, realizando ilustraciones inéditas de estas y de la edición inglesa.
Actualmente, continúa trabajando en nuevas obras, que espera poder ofrecer pronto a los lectores interesados en sus temas favoritos, con el objetivo de brindarles nuevas experiencias.

J. F. Rhodehouse is a writer whose primary interest is writing science fiction, urban fantasy, and mystery stories with fantastical elements.
Born in 1973 in Barcelona to an American father and a Catalan mother, he has always been captivated by science fiction and fantasy literature. In the late 1990s, he graduated from the University of Barcelona with a scientific degree and went on to work translating technical texts from American English into Spanish and Catalan, in addition to writing informative articles.
His debut work, “Beneath the Surface of Appearances: When Evil Lurks Among Us”, a novella, belongs to the genre of contemporary urban fantasy and is available in ebook, paperback, and audiobook formats in the best online stores.
“Pandora 2033: Ultimatum to Humanity,” his latest work, is a short science fiction story intended to provoke and impact the reader about the severe issue of the current climate crisis.
He has also self-published a new, improved translation into Spanish and Catalan of H.P. Lovecraft’s story, “The Color Out of Space,” also available on Amazon, performing unpublished illustrations for these and the English edition.
Currently, he continues working on new works, hoping to make readers interested in his favorite themes soon and to provide them with new experiences.

Nascut el 1973 a Barcelona, fill d'un pare americà i una mare catalana, sempre ha estat captivat per la literatura de ciència-ficció i fantasia. A finals dels anys 90, es va graduar a la Universitat de Barcelona amb un grau científic i va passar a treballar traduint textos tècnics de l'anglès americà al castellà i al català, a més d'escriure articles divulgatius.
La seva obra debut, “Sota la Superfície de les Aparences: Quan el Mal ens Aguaita”, una novel·leta, pertany al gènere de la fantasia urbana contemporània i està disponible en formats ebook, paper (tapa blanda) i audiollibre a les millors botigues en línia.
“Pandora 2033: Ultimàtum a la Humanitat”, la seva darrera obra, és un relat curt de ciència-ficció que pretén provocar i impactar al lector sobre el greu problema de la crisi climàtica actual.
També ha auto-publicat una nova traducció millorada al castellà i català del relat de H.P. Lovecraft, “El Color de l'Espai Exterior”, disponible també a Amazon, realitzant il·lustracions inèdites per aquestes i per a l'edició anglesa.
