About the work
It is 1954, in a Europe still recovering from the devastation of World War II. Vincent Arcadio, an ordinary detective living in Tangier, receives a visit from Nicole, a daring, seductive woman with enough money to pay him upfront. She tells him about the Voynich Manuscript, one of the most closely guarded secrets of the last century, and the start of the search for it by various groups. Several agents and spies from the State Intelligence Agency (SIAEM) will also become involved, clashing with the detective on several occasions. Meanwhile, in a remote Berlin, shrouded in cold and scarred by the war, a young woman goes to university to work with her mentor on a strange code. Suddenly, her entire circle of trust vanishes, leaving her pursued by Germany, France, and Spain for something she knows nothing about. A thriller with all the ingredients of action, chases, shootouts, and a 1960s setting. Whoever deciphers the Voynich code will possess a unique truth.
