About the work

ICE-80 Framework is an industrial-style, reproducible micromagnetic design pipeline (digital-twin workflow) created to predict coercivity (μ₀Hc), reversal stability, and failure modes of rare-earth-free α-Fe nanocolumn magnet architectures prior to physical prototyping. The registered know-how covers the software architecture and execution logic that transforms coercivity design from coarse trial-and-error sweeps into controlled-uncertainty numerical prediction.

Key protected elements include: (i) a field bracketing/bisection engine for μ₀Hc with explicit tolerance and decision criteria, (ii) an auditable reversal-mode classifier based on quantitative metrics (e.g., θRMS) and “Reason Codes” that explain each classification decision, (iii) automated generation of regime maps and publication-grade figures/tables from configuration files, and (iv) a traceability/notary layer (manifest.json + SHA256 checksums) that binds inputs, solver/version metadata, thresholds, and outputs for forensic integrity and reproducibility.

This deposit includes the ICE-80 source code (Python), configuration files, solver input templates, traceability samples (manifest and checksums), a catalog of Reason Codes, and representative sample outputs/data used to demonstrate the audit trail. Third-party solver executables (e.g., MuMax3, OOMMF) are not redistributed and are excluded from this registration; ICE-80 interfaces with them via wrappers/templates only. The deposit is intended as proof of authorship and timestamp for private/hidden registration and does not imply public disclosure of the know-how.
