La Mecedora es una salsa moderna que nació de un instante de inspiración: el compositor vio un clip en TikTok de una película protagonizada por Denzel Washington Fences. En esa escena, el padre le dice a su hijo: “I don’t do it ‘cause I like you son, it’s ‘cause I have to, it’s my duty.” Esa frase detonó una reflexión: ¿cómo se reescribe esa historia en clave latina, donde un padre migrante carga con el deber de abrir camino y una madre ausente sigue presente como bendición?
