About the work

The Echo of the Wind is the second novel in the Aevhian Chronicles, a work of contemporary fantasy aimed at young readers and adults. It continues the story begun in The Cuckoo’s Whisper, expanding the narrative universe and exploring the connection between worlds linked through natural and symbolic phenomena.

The novel follows two sisters, Clara and Elena, who—after the events of the first book—discover that the boundary between their reality and the hidden city of Verfen has begun to destabilize. Cities that fold, lakes that speak, awakening elemental forces, and a notebook with a will of its own signal an imbalance that threatens multiple layers of existence. Guided by Ayren, a master capable of shaping the wind, the protagonists face decisions that test not only their identity, but the fate of several interconnected worlds.

The work blends fantasy, emotion, adventure, and introspection, presenting international settings, reimagined mythical beings, and a unique system based on natural elements. It explores themes such as personal growth, responsibility, balance between opposing forces, memory, and the bond between sisters.

The novel features a linear structure, chapters narrated from different points of view, and an atmospheric style that forms a central part of its literary identity.
