About the work

Arie Veneziane is a hybrid orchestral and vocal project combining human lyrical performances with minimal AI assistance.
All vocal parts are performed by real human singers whose expressive interpretation and phrasing guided the entire creative process.
The orchestral suites were developed through a controlled workflow where AI tools were used only as supportive instruments for arrangement refinement and textural enhancement, always under direct human artistic supervision.

This collection explores the spiritual and emotional resonance of Venice, its light, faith, and water, through a dialogue between human voices and a contemporary orchestral soundscape.
No generative AI was employed for the core composition, melodic structure, or vocal identity. Every final decision in tone, emotion, and production reflects a human-led creative vision.

Prompts
Cinematic sacred orchestral adagio built around uploaded solo piano; lyrical Italian soprano voice in the expressive style of Rita Cammarano, a warm, mezzo-lyric timbre with deep chest resonance and natural vibrato; the voice must feel human, emotional, and intimate, never synthetic or operatic; performance flows with the piano, evolving from soft “Oooh” to lyrical center and ending in radiant “Aaah” finale with orchestra and choir; tempo ≈68 BPM, full piece at least 3 minutes; orchestration expands gradually from piano and strings to full symphonic and choral climax, Add accompanying violin and baroque instruments, orchestral suite including piano performance by Stefano di Tommaso to follow melodyband rythmnof Rita Cammarano

Lyrics, featuring Rita Cammarano and Stefano di Tommaso

Sotto il velo di mare piu blu
la mia voce si apre di piu
mi trovi in silenzio col cielo
Velaria, sei bella cosi’

Nel sogno di stelle cadenti
i colori danzano nei venti
Velaria, la tua luce mi guida
con te l'anima mai si smarrisce

SUMMARY

This composition is a cinematic sacred orchestral adagio built around a human-performed solo piano recording by Stefano di Tommaso and a human vocal performance by Rita Cammarano.
The creative identity, musical architecture, emotional direction, and structural evolution of the piece were entirely defined by the human composer: Venetian-Baroque colour, sacred cinematic tone, adagio pacing at ≈68 BPM, and full expansion from intimate piano to symphonic and choral climax.

The human composer designed the expressive vocal line, Rita’s warm mezzo-lyric timbre in this track ensured a beautifully accompaniement by Stefano on piano. These vocal characteristics directly also guided the behaviour of the AI orchestral suite, shaping dynamics, phrasing, harmonic response, and instrumental swell around the piano and voice.

Both the Suno style prompt and the lyrics/stage-cue prompt (not reproduced here) provided the full blueprint for the orchestration: entry of strings, Baroque instruments, choir, sustained adagio flow, harmonic lifts, and the luminous final cadence. AI was used only to render orchestral layers, always under strict human direction defined by the piano performance, human vocal phrasing, and detailed creative cues.

Human intervention dominated: control of harmonic development, balancing between piano and orchestra, shaping vocal–orchestral interplay, designing the ascension toward the climax, adjusting counterpoint, refining emotional pacing, and maintaining the sacred colour.
The final stage consisted of two hours of DAW remix and masterisation for TuneCore, where the human producer refined piano–voice integration, spectral balance, dynamics, cinematic reverb depth, choral blend, and clarity of the fade-out.

Overall, the piece is a human-directed hybrid composition, rooted in real human piano and vocal performances, with AI serving as a subordinate rendering engine following human musical intent.
