About the work
Arie Veneziane is a hybrid orchestral and vocal project combining human lyrical performances with minimal AI assistance.
All vocal parts are performed by real human singers whose expressive interpretation and phrasing guided the entire creative process.
The orchestral suites were developed through a controlled workflow where AI tools were used only as supportive instruments for arrangement refinement and textural enhancement, always under direct human artistic supervision.
This collection explores the spiritual and emotional resonance of Venice, its light, faith, and water, through a dialogue between human voices and a contemporary orchestral soundscape.
No generative AI was employed for the core composition, melodic structure, or vocal identity. Every final decision in tone, emotion, and production reflects a human-led creative vision.

SUMMARY
This composition is a large-scale epic cinematic orchestral overture in Venetian–Baroque style, created through a hybrid human–AI workflow in which the human composer provided full artistic authorship, structural architecture, emotional direction, and orchestral identity.
The human defined the entire conceptual design:
• grand sacred–heroic atmosphere
• evolving structure from solemn Baroque opening to triumphant finale
• dynamic breathing of the orchestra
• tempo range 70–90 BPM
• harmonic development, modulations, crescendos, and counterpoint
• the full instrumentation palette (strings, harpsichord, flute, oboe, horns, trumpets, timpani, bells, choir)
• and all the stage-cue lyrical lines for the choir and mezzo-soprano colour.
Although no lead vocals were used, the track incorporates human vocal involvement as reference and emotional guidance through mezzo-soprano phrasing (Lara Rotili’s tonal profile). These human vocal characteristics guided the choral texture, vowel shapes, emotional intensity, and pacing of the AI-rendered orchestral suite. Lara’s voice was inserted into the orchestral suite
Both Suno style prompts and Suno lyrics/stage-cue prompts (not reproduced here) substantially shaped the orchestral execution. AI acted as a rendering engine following strict human instructions: sacred–cinematic tone, Baroque counterpoint, rising brass lines, shimmering harp patterns, choir dynamics, organ-like resonance, and the grand Venetian motif.
Human intervention remained dominant: structural verification, harmonic adjustment, orchestral pacing, expression shaping, choral dynamics, and refinement of the Baroque–cinematic blend.
The final stage consisted of two hours of human DAW remix and masterisation for TuneCore, including spectral balancing, stereo enhancement, timbral coherence, choir presence shaping, and grand finale reinforcement.
Overall, this is a human-directed composition with AI providing orchestral realisation under close creative control.
