About the work
Shortly after his coronation as Messiah of Pokopen, Loki begins a relationship with Maruja, a younger sister completely dominated by her older sisters. Cornelia, another candidate for the title of Messiah, cannot control her insane jealousy and manipulates the eldest siblings to separate the couple and start a sibling war with one goal: to discredit Loki and proclaim herself the new Messiah of Pokopen and the owner of the most beautiful mane of hair in the kingdom. Loki will not allow himself to be separated from his beloved nor allow the older siblings to subjugate the youngest ones, so he and Maruja embark on a journey in search of allies who will help them stop Cornelia and end the war. They know their best bet is to turn to the gods, but to do so, they must visit the Church of Man, on the other side of the kingdom, and the obstacles they encounter are many and too dangerous for the couple.
