When slavers captured Money Penny, the compound members were devastated, especially his new father, Marshal Walker, and his Crow wife, Bar-Chee. Levi Johnson and Captain Will Forrester will take chase and follow them to Fort Boise, where they were to be sold along with three prison wagons of valley Indians to ship west. The Californianos are just about to declare war on Mexico, and they need bodies to fight off the hordes.
Marshal Walker, the boy’s adopted father, can sit no longer and wait, and he too rides out to save his boy. The future of the newest member of the group appears to be dark and full of violence. They all rush to save him before it’s too late. Little did they know a small girl was also stolen, and together they plan to escape their pending future of a life of misery and maybe even worse, physical abuse.
