The monster within.
I had a monster inside
that I feed
for so long.

He was born cute
so tiny, yet, absolute.
And he grew
I fed him everyday.
I thought he was meant to stay
My little monster

He wa so close to me
at every step
he whispered in my dreams
he hold me between streams
of despair and hurt.

He was a monster
full of shadows
I didn't know
he crashed all the disasters
of unsolved
feelings.

I had a monster within
he grew inside of me
huge, powerful
enormous,
impetuous
hurtful,

The monster within
changed me
I could see it clear
I thought he hold me dear
but it wasn't love
and I need it no more.

I had a monster within
the soul said
it's all over me
if he goes
I'll get undone.

And one morning
the monster was gone.

I learned to breathe
though his tlongues
I learned to speak
using his tongue.

I learned to walk
to feel
to see
through his monstrous talk

I learned to be
only through him and me....

I hade a monster within
I loved him.
but he turned me into him,...

And one day,
he just walked away.

the monster
He was never mine
— I created him whole,
a character I wrote,
then met in my soul.

Now, he is gone
please make this pain
just go.
