About the work
When the train from San Antonio to Santa Clara, Texas, is robbed of thousands of dollars of gold, the citizens are furious. Their life savings were on that train. Will and Gid Crockett join the law and take chase. After capturing half of their gang, Judge Roy Bean sends them to the gallows.
As they ride their horses toward El Paso, they look for signs of the other four but give up the chase when they believe they have failed. They hitch a ride on the next train westbound. Upon their arrival, they see the culprits in a saloon, and they immediately capture them. El Paso Sheriff James White asks to deputize them to help him return the outlaws to the scene of the crime.
As they make their way eastward toward San Antonio, they are repeatedly attacked by a friend of Ringo Moon, the leader of the outlaw gang. He has put out the word that whoever breaks him out will be paid thousands of dollars for their service, and the chase ensues.
