About the work

In this family-oriented format, 4 pairs face each other testing their bond and general knowledge with a big money prize at stake.

One member of the team, the puppet master, stands with both feet on the ground answering the questions asked by the host, while the other is hanging by five strings, like a human puppet.

For each wrong answer, they lose one string.
However, if the guess is right, they are allowed to cut off one cable from their opponents’, choosing the “target” strategically.

When a ‘puppet’ loses the last string, (s)he free falls and that’s game over for the pair. The competition goes on until there is only one player hanging on.

The winning pair gets a cash prize and moves to the final round, in which puppet and puppet master change roles trying to double the money.

Who was hanging before is now in charge of answering 5 questions, representing the 5 strings. For each right answer, they keep the string and the amount corresponding to it. If they get it wrong, they lose both: the string and the money it represents.

Eg.:
Initial prize = 50k.
Final round = each string is worth 10k. For each right answer, the pair sums 10k to the initial prize. If they lose all the 5 strings, the new puppet falls and they leave the show with the 50k guaranteed at the qualifying rounds.
