About the work
Saudade
I saw you shining in the endless night,
Dreamed of a world where we just might.
But the truth spoke louder still,
Told us to be silent, against our will.
And in the end, fate made it clear,
We were nothing, yet you're still near.
How can I long for a place unknown,
For a love that was never our own?
And though the pain says, "Let it go,"
And time demands we move and grow,
What is left but this ache inside,
For something lost beyond our sight?
SAUDADÉ
I miss you still, though you're not real,
You were, you’ll be—yet never here.
SAUDADÉ
I was never there, yet my soul still clings,
To the roots of forgotten things.
SAUDADÉ
We were yet never will be,
We are yet never were,
But always, always, we will know.
(Closure Verse)
And if the echoes fade away,
Will we meet in another place?
Maybe time will bend again,
And I’ll find you in the end.
SAUDADÉ
A love unspoken, yet still remains,
A fire that burns without a flame.
No start, no end, just something true—
A timeless ache for me and you.
