About the work
The silent hero
in the night,
So strong, so pure,
so bold, so bright.
A heart so true,
a guiding light,
A love that hides
yet holds so tight.
(This is for you)
(My Bin)
A hero through
and through!
You were shy,
Loved the movies,
Dogs and kittens,
Silly missions,
Sketches drawn,
And little cars...
And me,
Our hero,
(My Bin)
You never let us
Spend a day
Alone or lost,
Without a way.
Without you,
(Without me)
No end in sight...
A trip to the store,
"Want something
nice?"
Some spicy chips?
A Coke on ice?
(What about
something for you?)
My hero, my Bin.
And now I stumble,
lost, undone,
Without your love,
I'm worth no one.
Yet in the stars,
Love still remains,
Though time
moves on,
It shakes the same.
Don’t you feel it too?
(I do, like you.)
But you were kind,
You'd save us all,
From our own hell,
From endless fall.
(Or winter’s call.)
Your dreams
deserved our
full respect:
To find the lost,
to guard, protect,
To brave the storms,
the frozen height,
To bring them
safely back to light.
(Without end)
My hero, my Bin.
To lead the lost
back home again.
In your hands,
Life found its way,
To gentle seas,
To brighter days.
You longed to help,
To lend your grace,
That fateful day,
That cursed place.
Rain-soaked
leaves,
A deadly slide,
A final step,
A world so wide.
A sudden fall,
A slip, a spin,
A journey vast,
Through light
within.
And in our souls,
A flood untamed,
A storm arose,
A world in pain.
Another life
to save, once more,
But this time,
you walked
through the door.
You left so fast,
No chance to fight,
No time to pull you
Back to life.
(How could
you dare?)
Without end,
Without you,
Our hero,
Our Bin.
What will we do?
A humble boy,
So bright, so rare,
A simple slip,
A cruel despair.
A step too far,
A life undone,
A world too dark
Without your sun.
Were you amazing?
Yes.
Always.
And without
knowing,
you became,
A force that none
could leave the same.
Clark Kent
transformed before
our eyes,
You saved us all,
time after time.
You were—
You are—
Infinity.
Without end.
My hero,
My Bin.
Forever here.
(With me.)
