About the work
This work describes a complete system created by Aurelio Ribas Estrella to automate and manage study tracking, review scheduling, and adaptive reinforcement for professional certifications such as CFA and FRM.
Originally developed in December 2023 in Excel (.xlsm) format and later enhanced and converted into Google Sheets, the system uses a master logic file (“mother”) and per-user input interfaces with protected formulas and structured permissions.
Key features include spaced repetition algorithms, visual progress indicators, modular control over study components (formulas, examples, question bank), and advanced user access restrictions.
The system was first publicly shared on Reddit on December 5, 2023, and significantly improved in a second version published on June 6, 2025.
