About the work

Éqfel (Éqfelno)
Metamystic Creature
Original creation by: Rocío Jazmin Acosta Lahera

Arrive with lightning and strong winds.
The fearsome fury of a lion
combined with the sensitivity of a majestic white horse,
with long flowing mane and deep blue eyes.

Éqfel is the kind of love that bursts in like wind through a half-open window,
taking the shape of a celestial horse.
White, with a long mane,
and blue eyes that do not ask,
do not beg
they simply take over.

A sentient force,
a being that enters your life
when you had already surrendered to a life without fire.
It licks you with flame.
It pushes you into your depths.
It whispers:

“Rise. Here is your truth.”

And it sets you ablaze… like a goddess.

But when it leaves,
when it vanishes into the mist,
what remains is a roar silent, aching.
The golden beast that has fought beside you all your life:
the lion hidden inside you,
rising once again,
defending itself,
honoring itself,
this time with the most ferocious power
awakened by the wild love of a twin soul.

The savage wind-beast awakens and unleashes in your chest
a force that had always been locked away.

The encounter of these two creatures,
within the sacred temple of a priestess-taming ritual,
gave birth to a being never seen before.
Dangerous and majestic.
They faced each other
in a sacred, pure dance
a meeting woven into the threads of time,
facing
the invisible mystery…

Thus was born:
Éqfel (Éqfelno)
a metamystic figure of the living soul
of a New Era Priestess.
