Kenneth Maxwell has always lived on the edge, carefree and with a life full of parties and excesses. But everything changes when he receives an unexpected call: his father has died, and he is the sole heir to an old and mysterious family mansion. The will, however, brings with it an obscure condition. To claim the inheritance, Kenneth must spend a week in the mansion, without leaving the place or contacting anyone, and under no circumstances, he must go down to the basement.
What starts as a petty challenge soon turns into a nightmare. Echoes of the past echo through the hallways of the mansion, shadows move in the windows, and strange messages are etched into the walls. As Kenneth grapples with family secrets he never wanted to know, he'll find himself caught up in a fight against an evil presence that has awaited him for centuries.
