original theatrical soundtrack music by Marco V. Pogliaghi
The stage music of the show "La Scala Shepard" sees the significant presence of the protagonist instrument, the Cello. By expertly combining dreamlike synth sounds, binaural effects and classical orchestral instruments, the soundtrack completes and assists the show by broadening the environmental perception of the stage and catalyzing the emotions of the audience.
We move from decidedly classic topics to more modern moments until reaching the Shepard tone and the final theme which stands out for a more than evident progressive-indie influence. Of note is the engaging solo of guitarist Fabio Del Sordo who has already collaborated with Marco in Eymos progressive band and on several works including the monumental Eolian Fairies.
Written, composed and orchestrated on a Apple iMac computer using Steinberg Cubase Professional, Spitfire Cello, Native Instruments Symphonic Orchestra, Spitfire Stradivari Violin, Eastwest Quantum Leap Pianos, Halion Symphonic Orchestra, Kontakt Controller, Mackie Pro Mixers, Tascam Microphones, KRK Speakers, Alesis Studio Drums.
Finalized and Mastered with Adobe Audition and Fabfilter.
