A young woman, Judy wakes up on a beach one year after her mysterious death. She soon discovers that no one recognises her due to her soul now being mysteriously embedded in a body that is not her own.
With her body undergoing a slow and painful mutation into a mermaid Judy realises that she is no longer of this world. With the help of an old childhood friend Thomas they set out to discover the shocking truth behind her tragic death before it is too late. A journey that will take them to the realm of the selkie, into a confrontation with the psychotic seal killer Egan and Judy’s narcissistic and abusive boyfriend Seorus.
