About the work
A young Mexican-American in a quest to deliver vital information for the cure of cancer from a scientist she accidentally killed in a car crash gets mugged at the border and confused by ICE with an illegal Colombian drug mule. She will need now to survive the xenophobic mistreatment of the ICE agents and somehow find a way to deliver the files to the scientific community. Her only ally is a gay ICE agent that remains in the closet to avoid his partner's savage life-threatening homophobic bullying.
