About the work
Adam “Grizz” James and Brick Hammer’s worlds are thrown into a whirlwind; their home is in jeopardy, and their lives are too. A forest fire has broken out on Grizz’s mountain, and all God’s creatures run for their lives.
As the massive fire races toward Yellowstone Valley, the citizens of Twin Springs prepare for the worst. Even the Crow Indians were forced off the mountain and sought refuge on the plains.
Hostile Blackfeet Indians, fire, and bounty hunters compete to make the situation even direr as the blazing inferno continues to rage out of control.
Will Grizz’s cabin and mountain be destroyed, leaving him and Brick without a home? Will the fire reach Twin Springs and burn it to the ground to become one more ghost town in the wilderness?
