About the work
After receiving a mysterious key from her deceased mother followed by visions of their reuniting, Penny and her friend Ben are on the run from the government, when they teleport into The Greene Woods, a deadly forest, known as the only path to the source of their magic itself. Unbeknownst to them, they have been tracked by Alixis, a rouge agent hellbent on revenge. Led by a talisman and a map, Penny adventures into the woods to find the door and learn about the mystical powers they possess and how they work. But all is not as it seems, when a vengeful mystic remerges to create chaos. Now with the world's magic at stake, Penny and her friends will need to stop a mad tyrant and learn the secrets of The Door and The Book of Mystics.
