About the work
Description: This work consists of a total of 2 parts and is composed mostly of original material and my authorship, as well as a smaller percentage of material derived from a public domain image. The public domain image has been used for illustrative purposes and has been modified to fit the context of the work. Said modification includes editing, warping and coloring. The non-original part of the work includes the face and chest of the Balltze image. The original part includes the text: “No le hable al chofer porque se espanta, choca y nos vamos todos ALV”, originally written in Spanish and published for the first time (in its current conditions of registration without variation) on June 6, 2022. And the anthropomorphized edition of Balltze, the elements of his wardrobe and the context of the image as a bus driver. All of them created by Hugo Chávez Mondragón in his work as editor and content creator for Revicheems magazine.
This work is a parody of the signs that are placed on buses and collective transportation in Mexico.
