WILDER is a story of the week family drama that follows fish out of water VINNIE (40s), an urbanite widow, and her two children MAYA (12) and HARI (8) as they transition to a wilder way of life. After the sudden loss of her husband, Vinnie's family find themselves helplessly homeless. Nowhere else to turn, she buys time by spending the Easter holidays at her late husband’s family farm, but an accident leaves father-in-law AMBROSE (70s) unfit to manage WILDWOOD FARM and so clueless Vinnie is forced to muck in. Inspired by the warmth and wit of great British family dramas such as The Durrells, Call the Midwife and All Creatures Great and Small, yet set in contemporary rural Britain; this series will follow Vinnie as she faces country challenges, confronts her grief and fights for her family
