About the work
A fictional series about Rotterdam and it´s current situation one of Europe's top entry ports for drugs and all kinds of contraband, but also a major European distribution hub for such illegal goods. It´s led to historic levels of crimes and attacks on politicians, journalists, even lawyers and community leaders. And from Rotterdam criminal networks, growing more rich and powerful by the day, and infect the rest of Holland. Something must be done. A dark-horse candidate, and daughter of a disgraced former Rotterdam mayor, enters the race for a new mayor, and like Emmanuelle Macron in France, a set of unpredictable set of circumstances lead to her becoming the front runner, than the winner in a landslide. And even though Noa De Vos thinks she can do better than all the male mayors who came before her, including her father, what she´ll soon discover is that the forces against change are stronger than anyone knows, and cleaning up Rotterdam will require her and her loyal team to get a little dirty.
