About the work
Ache has just came out to his father --who responded by shutting him off of his life. Ache decides to quit his job and go hitchhiking across South America, in an attempt to heal and know the place he was born into. We follow Ache as he makes his way from Buenos Aires to Bogotá --from where he eventually travels to the US. During each episode we learn about Ache's journey looking in people for what he thinks he needs, as well as the realities that he encounters in each place. Through the stories unearthed, we are able to contextualize current paradigms, and a story larger than Ache emerges: a continent of parallel worlds, imaginaries and greographies. The show is the Americas as a place of connection, a showing of how what happens in one place affects the other –and the other way around.
