A Thousand Eyes was an ugly frog that lived in a pond. Her skin was covered with many spots that looked like eyes. The pond where she lived formed because of the water that accumulated when it rained heavily in the backyard of a house. The children that lived in that house played with the frogs, but they were scared of the spotted one; they named her “A Thousand Eyes.”. The frog tried to find another place to live. She went to live in a botanical garden, and she hid in a poisonous flower. By scaring a little boy, the frog saved him from touching the flower. She thought she had found the perfect place to hide her ugliness.
