About the work
A black nightingale was very unhappy because he was black. Every day, he begged God to change the color of his plumage. He had a dream in which God asked him to travel around the entire geography of Earth; after completing such journey, He would grant him to have another plumage color. The nightingale, Ebony, flew all over Earth. At the end of his journey in a dream he talked to God again, but now he just thanked God for being the nightingale he was.
