The King Goes On Balls es una canción escrita, compuesta, interpretada, producida, mezclada y masterizada por Alvaro Amarante Sánchez (conocido como Alan James en Beev Rations), fundador y líder de Beev Rations.
Compuesta el 23 de agosto de 2021, el master final data del 3 de octubre, siendo el primer corte del EP Raw Waltzes, cuyo lanzamiento completo data del 18 de octubre. La canción fue también publicada como sencillo el mismo día.
Se trata de una canción de estilo Folk Rock alternativo, Psyfolk y Merseysound, incluyendo en el inicio un fragmento de una canción popular con sonido de caja de música. Incluye sonidos de campanillas, en dos ocasiones. La letra está basada en el cuento "El Traje Nuevo del Emperador", de Hans Christian Andersen. Musicalmente se sitúa dentro de los géneros de Indie, Bedroom Pop-Rock y Roots rock. Duración: 2 minutos y 1 segundo.
