About the work
A troupe of burlesque dancers find themselves stranded in a Breton village. They must raise enough money to pay the mechanic or miss a career-defining showcase in Paris. Amidst their own personal dramas, they hold burlesque lessons and soon find themselves drawn into the village women's secret plot: hijack the Fest Noz (Breton "night festival") and stop a corrupt politician.
After a frightening, transphobic attack, the dancers are driven out of the village and find solace in a Celtic moon ritual. They realise they must return but the village women have already taken things into their own hands. Their burlesque-Breton Fest Noz is a huge success and the corrupt politician is outed.
The dancers celebrate with their new friends, missing their chance to make the showcase, but happier for it
