He seeks freedom within a relation that suits his narratives as a means to unlock his writers block as much as it provides his much needed companionship.
Tog’s journey takes him through a string of dates in search of things he himself was not sure about, along the way he realises that his own narratives and his consciousness also held him captive and restricted his journey for love hence the writers block.
He eventually finds he can date across race without betraying his principles and beliefs as a matter of fact that was the freedom he needed, unlearning bad narratives that says been pan something makes you against something else. A freedom from hang ups and narratives and opening your mind to what the reality is.
