Amir, Adel, and Fethi, three Tunisian friends leave the homeland searching for redemption and success.
Amir tries to meet again with the big love of his life, Selma, who has left him without any explanation. Adel dreams of becoming rich again and getting his father out of jail. Fethi needs to find money to have his seriously ill mother treated and save his four sisters from poor living. Soon the dream of fast riches becomes a nightmare, Adel becomes a drug dealer, Amir works as a gigolo for wealthy women, and Fethi gets married to get his papers, yet his wife forces him to work off the books and keeps control over his earnings under the threat of divorcing him. On a final attempt to turn the odds to their favor they end up running away through Europe to save their lives from the mob.
