Song to my Youth

About the work

Those days had cloudy mornings and
liters of vulgarity.
Those days had crowdy nights, and wedding nights, without clarity.

We were epicurean boys,
We thought we had no choice,
with wry feelings like James Joyce.

Voices of my youth now are kinds of noises of truth.

Days of magic potions made up of hex, bugs and rock´n soul.
In those days that was my drink and my nickname was, was the mole.

Rambling, gambling, my mode,
having one more for the road,
before going to my abode.

Voices of my youth now are kinds of noises of truth.

Those days were good times for the loser people,
Or we thought that, what else, we were unequal.

Without thinking about the future, past or present,
Without thinking about the vice, our essence.

Beauty girls don’t matter to us,
only the adrenaline rush,
dancing to the beat of the Clash.

Voices of my youth now are kinds of noises of truth.

All pleasures took place here,
I used to say, memories so clear,
Oh! those wonderful years.
Oh! those wonderful years.
Oh! those wonderful years.
Oh! those wonderful years.
