It’s January 1989. Ten friends and a dog have just arrived at a remote cabin in the mountains where they want to spend their winter holiday. The next day, they start to realize that things are not going well and that they should stop "the game" as they keep referring to this trip — they are without food, their gas stove is leaking, someone has broken his leg and the cabin's manager is missing.
It is now revealed that they are actually in 2019 and the game they have been playing is, in fact, a retro holiday that pays homage to their perfect vacation from two decades ago. And it turns out it is not the first “remake," either. The only difference, however, is that now one of them seems to have gone mad and not care if they all die.
