About the work
Barcelona, Winter 1941. Children are disappearing in the working-class surroundings of the city while fascism arises on the street. When young factory-worker Montse's little brother disappears, she has to fight against both society's old-fashion values and his family's in order to start her own investigation and find him. Along the way, she'll discover that the world keeps far deeper secrets than imagined when she has to face an ancient evil whose lethargy has ended and encounters the remains of a long-forgotten order.
