About the work
ABSTRACT
The aims of this essay is to explain the use of the ICT in e-commerce, as well as the linguistic processes involved in it and determine the level of English necessary to be independent in this task.
It will consist of a fieldwork, containing real examples of on-sale items in Chinese web sites through which some people with a low-level of English will register their activity in the process of shopping. This register will be used to explain the linguistic processes dealing with that action.
The results obtained will be compared to the goals followed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR or CEF), which envisages language learners as independent tasks performers and not only as passive receptors of information.
RESUMEN
El objetivo de este trabajo es explicar el uso de las TIC en el ámbito del e-commerce o compra on-line, haciendo hincapié en el uso de las TIC por parte de personas con un nivel de inglés bajo.
Constará de un trabajo de campo, en el que se propondrán ejemplos reales de productos a la venta en webs chinas intentando que varias personas con un nivel de inglés bajo o muy bajo, registren su actividad y así poder explicar los procesos lingüísticos que se producen.
Los resultados se compararán con los objetivos perseguidos por el Marco Común de Referencia de las Lenguas, es decir, la realización de tareas de forma independiente usando otra lengua.
