As I walked to the edge of the beach, I was treading some of its pebbles; the sea wind was blowing in my ears, children were flying kites, laughing and running.
The sand was strewn with a variety of shells with many shapes and colors; I picked up a shiny one, a pink conch with large knobs pointed in the last three whorls.
