Protective Light Everlasting

About the work

You said “come!” and
I followed
Through forests with
paths so ancient but
now forsaken
Under Tarmac roads
where silence whispered
in solitude
Over the endless
meadows of dreams
we walked
But deep in the
misty-covered moorland
we lost our ways
You went your way and
I went mine but still side
by side we carried on
Two souls joined at the hip
and bound - apart - by the
protective light everlasting

Literary: Other
personal
poetry
spilled ink
