A sudden clap of thunder in the far distance Pieced the stillness of the cloudless skies And scattered away my butterflies I stepped forward With blue above and below and took the dive Reaching high for The yonder in the skies I took flight in a mid-air Summer delight Twisting and turning A somersault that caught the wind I turned and plunged right in Giggly I submerged into the cold depths below with pointed toe and dare I say, as I emerged eager do it all over again
