When the sea opens and closes her eyes blinded by the sun,
my gaze flutters the restless waters
and my body seeps through the rocks,
sways between the shadows and disappears into the reeds.
The second and third strophe will read:
My roots sink in the mud,
and my thoughts meshed in a web of images
and collect fragments of water-soaked verses.
I seek a way out and only encounter fog,
the current snuggles me and throws me to the shore.

Cuando la mar abre y cierra sus ojos cegada ante el sol,
mi mirada abate las aguas inquietas
y mi cuerpo se filtra entre las rocas;
oscila entre las sombras y desaparece en los juncos.
Mis raíces se hunden en el fango
y mis pensamientos se entraman en una telaraña de imágenes
y recogen fragmentos de estrofas mojadas por el agua.
Busco una salida y solo encuentro bruma;
la corriente me arrima y me arroja a la orilla.
