Vampire Petals series
I am the innovator of a new technique, whereby I use dead petals and chewed gum in Assemblage to create a totally new perspective of the materials in an artistic expression. I named this series Vampire Petals. They die, they arise, they die...
Each work is accompanied by a haiku verse - attached to the work by a hinge - that is intentionally ambiguous, leaving the interpretation of the work up to the viewer.
In PERDU I used petals (tulip, rose, daffodil & many more), tree bark, chewed gum, acrylics, glaze, wallpaper glue on board. Attached haiku verse
