In a near fiuture, a pandemic has spread around the world. Eight scientists (Larson, Caldwell, Sanders, Deering, Delaney, Gully and Parrish) have the mission to investigate a cave in a forest for the cure to this disease. Inside they find a slug that bites Parrish and turns her into a blood-thirsty monster. The remaining seven scientists must now survive at all costs from this creature, as it kills them one by one.
