100% Digital | 2000px X 2000px | 300dpi Ideas originate in the conecpt of the album: "Failed Revolutions" is story of a fictive revolution that eventually goes wrong. Starting with the description of how a people lives under a repressive regime ("Shadows on the Wall"), they begin to gather, start to clash with the authorities and finally succeed ("Ultimate Confrontation"). Shortly after the victory, freedom is reached, yet many people and problems remain the same ("The Morning After"); even more, it becomes clear that the transition to freedom carries the burden of all the crimes of the past that have to be dealt with ("A last Summer Evening"). Eventually, the vacuum in public life leaves space for opportunists, corruption, organized crime etc. ("Dark Horizons"). And wouldn't you know it, all the problems that had been suppressed earlier start to pop up and result in a limitation of freedom, until the fictive people finds itself again in the same situation as right at the beginning ("Ancient Demons Rise"). In front of this, these elements of the revolt as well as the frustration could be expressed on this cover Artwork. *Artwork taken from the For Sale Gallery 2011 (Nº72) and includes changes to fits to the band's album concept. Cover Artwork by CadiesArt © 2011-2013 Layout including band's Logo Style & Title Typography/Style by CadiesArt © 2013 The techniques used: Digital Photo Manipulation techniques, digital resources with Adobe Photoshop mostly.
